Many people are overweight. They start feeling sluggish and depressed, their blood pressure and blood sugar go up. They run to the doctor who puts them on blood pressure medicine that can add up to 100 pounds on women and 50 pounds on men.
Now they can’t move very well, their knees and ankles start to swell and hurt. As a result, people seek a way out of the pain and end up on pain medication, which leads to constipation. On top of the wright they are now terribly bloated. So what do you suppose this lead to? Right!!! They are give laxatives and anti-acids, which strip the stomach of their natural juices.
By now they have acid reflux and are miserable every time they eat, although the gas makes them feel hungry all the time. By this time the immune system is lowered so the candida begins to grow in the colon and sometimes spreads to the organs and urinary tract.
One lady came to The Myrtle Tree, who was taking 26 drugs, most of which were from side effects of other drugs. I pointed this out to her daughter who was a nurse, she was very upset and told her mom not to come to The Myrtle Tree, she took hold of her mom’s arm to help her out of the chair, but she was stuck, the poor lady, chair and all went over on the floor. The Angels were there so no-one was hurt!!
Most older women are afraid to get off their drugs and I won’t tell them to, but after about a month on The Myrtle Tree Program, I tell them to return to the toctor and be tested. Usually the doctor will reduce the potencies.
So rather than solve the condition of being over-weight with drugs, where each solution now becomes the next problem, do it the natural healing way first. Have a Saliva Test done so we can find the direct cause and work on that instead of symptoms.
There are many factors contributing to weight including spiritual or emotional problems which can be alleviated or lessened with good nutrition. A minimal exercise program is a must and should be started right away. Choose an exercise ritual of something you will enjoy. For example, walking in a park or garden, biking, swimming or bouncing on a mini-trampoline. Whenever you feel depressed or sluggish, use an enema or colonic to release the toxins.
People who are 10-25 pounds over-weight have fast results with colon therapy. Some do not release weight at first, however, because they are dehydrated and retain water. After about a week, they will start losing inches, as the colon becomes cleaner, they will release pounds. I actually say we are releasing pounds instead of loosing pounds, then we won’t be looking for them!
It is better to weight and measure yourself at the beginning. Write the results in a book and repeat in 2 weeks. Checking for weight release on a daily basis is discouraging and thus undesirable.
It is important to maintain your wright control diet even after achieving your desired weight. The following method works very well. The week-ends are yours because so much of American’s social activities are based on eating out with the family and friends. You deserve a break! Then from Sunday night to Monday night eat very light: Vegetable Juices are best. My favorite is 1/2 beet, 1/2 bunch of parsley, 1 pound of carrrots, and enough celery to make 2 cups. I call this poop juice!!!

Patti’s Potassium broth: 1 bunch of carrots including tops, 1 onion, 5 very small red potatoes, celery tops and leaves and a hand full of green beans. Steam and drain.
Eat Vegetables, mainly squash for Monday night meal. Then continue your suggested diet the rest of the week.
