MY JOURNEY TO HEALTH
My childhood was one of continual infections, mainly in my head and ears. Mom always told me it was all in my head and she was right. The doctors decided it would be good to take my tonsils and adenoids out. In those years sulfa drug was used, I was allergic to it and ended up with rheumatic fever and a heart murmur. I was in the Children's Hospital for over a year. Dad called me his million dollar baby!
Because of my heart I came home in a wheel chair. We lived at a Lake, so when I came home Mom wanted to give me a party. She invited all my little friends over and they went swimming while I sat on the dock in the wheel chair. After they left I told my Dad I didn't want to live like that and I wasn't going to stay in that chair. Dad cried, but he agreed with me.
I loved sports, but was pledged with migraine headaches which would put me down for 3 or 4 days. One doctor thought it could be allergies, I went to the allergy specialist and he discovered I had 137 different allergies. I took weekly shots until I got married, then we couldn't afford the shots. I was fine for about 5 years, then the allergies and headaches came back with a vengeance.
This time the allergy shots didn't help the headaches, I became an emergency case at the Chiropractors. I quite teaching school when my daughter was born, but after she was old enough to go to pre-school. I went to work as a cosmetologist. One day one of my clients came in and she looked great. I asked her what she was doing. She told me she was taking herbs, I said I wanted some. So I started on my quest. I read all the information I could find, and almost all the herbs would help some problem I had. Many of them I was allergic to. Finally I started taking alfalfa, the more I took, the better I felt, so I ended up taking 26 a day, I ate alfalfa sprouts and alfalfa salads and my husband's fresh caught fish.
About 6 weeks of this diet and I got the worst headache I had, had in years, My hair even hurt and felt gummy. As sick as I was I got up and washed my hair. It smelled like sulfa drug. WOW my Mom was right, it was in my head. The alfalfa cleaned my small intestine and neutralized the pH in my body, now I could start taking other herbs.
I quit taking the allergy shots when I learned about the Saliva Tests. Through them I learned about Homeopathic Remedies which were like a miracle for me. Now if I feel a headache coming on I have my Homeopathic and I test to see what I ate, or what was in the air.
At age 55 I was teaching school in Inner-city Los Angeles. I felt myself becoming weak and teaching was too much for me. I retired. I was happy riding my horse every morning and working with my Saliva tests and Nature's Sunshine Herbs in the afternoon, still I felt myself loosing strength.
There is a way to Saliva Test for cancer although it is not recognized by the AMA or FDA. I got enough courage to test myself and sure enough it was cancer of the pancreas. I didn't tell my husband because I knew he would make me go to an MD. I started an herbal program which changed every month. The emotion for the pancreas is: " not being accepted by other people." I prayed and meditated and said positive affirmations continually through the days, no matter what I was doing. It took 6 months, but I knew when the cancer was gone. Quickly my strength was renewed and I was ready to do the work God was leading me to do.
That year I started The Myrtle Tree Health Clinic to share my knowledge with all who would ask. I continued the healing arts administering and teaching until my 70th year, then I sold The Myrtle Tree in LaCrescenta California and retired to Michigan, my home state. I found that God still had healing work for me to do, so I put as much information as I could on line and am still putting in 4-6 hours a day testing and answering the phone and e-mails.
Now at age 70 my immune system is so strong that I have no allergies or migraine headaches (Unless I get really excited!!!!), but they don't last long. I say I am like old wine, the older I get, the better I get. I got my first horse at age 50 and ran endurance races (25 miles), at 65 I ran a marathon (26.2 miles).
Now I am helping others with the Saliva Tests. When I had my Clinic in California I charged $150 for adults, $95 for seniors, $50 for students and $25 for babies. Now I am retired and not running a business, so I am just charging $25.00 for everyone!
